Who's that guy?

Hello, my name is Don! This is my world and this is who I am. I am a 27 year old Web Developer from Hamilton, Ontario. I am a Cambodian who was born in Thailand and grew up in Canada.

Web Designing

I became interested in web designing during my last semester of college and I've been doing this ever since. It allows me to show my artistic side along with my logic side. Throughout the years, I've learned to enjoy what I do. I am constantly learning new things and figuring out ways to apply what I've learned. I'm open-minded so I'm always out trying new things.

Hobbies

During my spare time, I'm usually out chilling with some friends. If it's nice out, I'll be at the harbour front rollerblading for an hour or so. I either rollerblade for 20km or until the battery of my mp3 player dies, whichever comes first. During other times, I'll be slouched in front of the computer designing web sites. At the moment, I'm thinking of getting into photography. I would like to show people the world through my eyes and I believe that photography would be a key to allow me to do just that.

Blogging

I started blogging in March 2005. I saw blogging as a way for me to express my thoughts and it also allowed me to keep track of what's going on in my life. As we mature and come to terms with ourselves, we like to look back and reflect on the past and see how far along we've come. Looking back to the day that I started blogging, I've noticed that my writing style has improved. It wasn't a big improvement but any improvement, big or small, is good. Not only that but I've notice how I've mature a little. I am more observant with my surroundings and I am less judgmental when it comes to subjects that I don't know much about.

Photography

Besides blogging, I am also learning to become a photographer. It is a hobby that I've became interested in recently. Since the first snapshot with a 3.1mp camera, I was hooked. Now, I'm a slowly taking this hobby more seriously. I've purchased a Nikon D50 in order to pursue this hobby further in hopes that I will one day become a professional photographer as well. The more pictures I take with the camera, the more people will start to understand my point of view.
