Cooking for one

One of my New Year’s resolution for last year to was eat healthier. This mean that I had to cut back on McDonald’s and other fast food. From time to time, I will give in and eat fast food but after doing so, it feels as if my body regrets eating it. When it comes to fast food, I crave it once every two months or so. At this rate, I might eventually give up on fast food altogether.
With fast food out of the picture, I have to prepare my food every night. It’s a habit that I am trying to keep up. Basically, I scour the internet for recipes and find something that catches my attention and makes my mouth water. I write down the ingredients and head to the grocery store to pick it up. Certain dish requires a lot of preparation but I am starting to like the preparation part. I enjoying cooking and everything that it has taught me so far. I think that there is still a lot more that I have to learn. I like to think that I have mastered the pasta dishes but I am sure that I am missing out on a few things.

So far, I’m starting the year on the right path. Here’s hoping that I don’t veer off course.
