What’s your sign?

According to the star charts, I was born under the zodiac sign of Capricorn. I never gave it much thought as to what it meant to be a Capricorn. I just knew that anyone born between December 22 and January 20 is a Capricorn. Supposedly, there’s this whole compatibility thing where a certain sign matches up with another sign. I am not much of a believer in that.

I don’t like the fact that my fate has already been written. I idea of something in control of my life scares me. I am in control of my life and I do with it what I see fit. I may not know what exactly what I want right now but I have plenty of time to figure that out. I don’t want some unforeseen force to tell me what I do or do not like.

It is possible that an event or even a person could disrupt your balanced or sensible approach, causing you a bit of a headache today. However, this upset is unlikely to be a deliberate attempt to unsettle you; it’s more likely to be based on thoughtlessness. Just be prepared to say no today!

Many newspapers carry horoscopes these days. I like to read them every now and then to see how close it is to my daily life. Usually, it’s dead wrong but sometimes it’s right. The way they write horoscope is that they put it in a way so that everything sounds vague. They don’t say things to the point so they suggest that it might or might not happen the way they predicted it. I’m not sure how true some of them are but I don’t think the celestial bodies have any influence on my day to day life.

I do think that when someone reads the horoscope, they manipulate it in a way so that it works out for them. Take the horoscope that I’ve just mentioned. It’s suggesting that I might get a headache because someone plans on saying something that might upset me. In a way, it could be true because my girlfriend did bring up something that got me thinking. It didn’t necessarily upset me. It was more of an eye opener than anything. But then the horoscope is suggesting that I say no. I can’t say no to my girlfriend. That might get me murdered!

I honestly think that when you read things that has anything relating to life, it will change your point of view on things. Not everyone is open-minded so they can’t see everything from every point of view. When they read an article that suggests an alternative view, it’ll get them thinking and maybe persuade them to change their mind. Words are a powerful tool to have and if you know how to use it, you can do just about anything.

I have an easier time writing down my thoughts than verbally saying them. I have a problem with articulation and some times I slur my words. I’ve even found myself to stutter at times and when that happens, I forget what I was about to say and I stop saying everything and shut up completely.

But anyway, I don’t take horoscope seriously and I don’t really care what they say about my future. I like reading them for fun just to compare what it’s saying with current events. Until they’re 100% accurate in describing my days, I’m not going to pay much attention. I can probably write a horoscope that will vaguely describe your day. All I have to do is look in the sky and see where the big dipper is and then make up some stuff.

Today is one of those days where you sit in front of a computer and read the Chronicles of Don Khuth. You will be reading a blog entry about horoscopes. If you find yourself doing that right now, you should be very content because you’ve just learned a valuable lesson.
