Back in space

My blog is being sent into outer space again, for the third time. Sometimes, I doubt that intelligent life exists outside of this planet. Although we have search far and wide yet if there exists intelligent life out there, they would have attempted to contact us by now. There are countless numbers of galaxies out there and to think that not one of them is trying to communicate with us is a little discouraging.

Science has always been out to try and find the answers to life’s question. But in the end, what does it all come down to? What are we to do once all the answers have been found? More importantly, why are we looking for these answers? Can’t we accept things for the way they are? If things happen for a reason, can’t we just accept the fact that it happened because it happened?

Blog in Space: April 1, 2006

I’m not much of a believer in God but that faith changes on a day to day basis. Sometimes I won’t and sometimes I get a feeling that there might be someone powerful up there. A friend from work is a big believer in God and has tremendous faith in Him. One day we must have spend about five to ten minutes just talking about the Bible and its content. I’ve never actually finished reading the Bible back in the days when I had the faith. Something about the verses he asked me to read made me think.

I’ve never actually finished reading the Bible back in the days when I had the faith. Something about the verses he asked me to read made me think.I forgot which verse it was but it had something with understanding the word of God. We are not able to understand what the Bible is saying unless we give ourselves to Jesus. It is as if the words are being spoken in another language, a language we cannot comprehend on our current mind state. That language can be understood we if allow Jesus into our hearts.

Being a scientific person, I am always fascinated with people’s understanding of things. I’m always out there to see if I can figure out what other people are thinking of when they perform an action that common sense tells them not to. That is probably why I like working at a job that deals with the public. Well, I don’t like it all that much, but it’s helping me understand human behaviour a bit more. For exampley, there is this one time where some person would yell at me for calling them so early in the morning. Anyone who is willing to answer the phone should not be yelling at the person on the other line. If you do not wish to be bother, turning off the phone is just a button away. Leaving the phone on while you’re sleeping is just asking for it. It is not the fault of the caller, it is your fault.

This is blog is a bit off topic from beginning to end. I started with space and then religion and then human behaviour. I think it flowed from one to the other fairly well, don’t you?

  1. Yes, I concur. You can tell which people are not intelligent because they do not know how to use proper grammar and punctuation in their sentences.
